Who we are
This page explains how Proppa looks after your information.
- Company name
- [Company name to be added]
- ABN
- [ABN to be added]
What we collect
- Your name and email.
- Your password, kept in a scrambled form that no one can read.
- How you sign in, like Google, Microsoft or Apple, and the devices you sign in on.
- What you add about your properties, like prices, loans, rent and files.
- Simple records of how you use the portal, like when you sign in.
- Which pages you open, what you click and when something breaks. Sometimes we also keep a short video of the screen. We hide every word, number and picture first, so we only see the shape of the page.
Why we collect it
- To run your account and show your numbers.
- To send emails you need, like sign-in codes and reminders.
- To keep the portal and your account safe.
- To find and fix problems, even ones you never tell us about.
Who can see it
You can see it. So can the people you invite or share with, like family, an agent or a builder. You choose what they see.
Our support staff can open an account when they need to fix a problem.
Other companies we use
We use Clerk to sign you in. Clerk keeps your name, email, password and how you sign in. It sends the code you get by email when you sign up, sign in on a new device or reset your password.
We use other companies to host the portal, send email and take payments. They get only what they need to do that job.
A company called PostHog keeps the records of which pages you open, the short screen videos and when something breaks. PostHog stores them in the United States. They know you only by a number, never by your name or email.
A business can link its own apps, like QuickBooks. Then records move only in the way that business sets up.

Clerk keeps your sign-in details in the United States. PostHog keeps its records of which pages you open there too.
Your choices
You can change your details in Settings. To stop us keeping records of which pages you open and short screen videos, turn off Help us find and fix problems in Settings. You can ask us for a copy of your data. You can ask us to delete it. Go to our Contact page to ask.
